Privacy Policy

Free Financial Inc. (“Free Bank,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to the Free Bank pre-launch waitlist website at joinfree.com and any related communications.

We keep this simple: we collect what we need to run the waitlist and build Free Bank. We don’t sell your data. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

When you sign up for the Free Bank waitlist, we collect:

• ✦Name. Your first name (and last name, if provided), used to personalize communications.
• ✦Email address. Required to send waitlist confirmation, product updates, and your unique referral link.
• ✦Platform. The platform(s) you primarily earn from (e.g., OnlyFans, YouTube, Substack). Used to understand our user base and prioritize features.
• ✦Revenue range. An optional, anonymized revenue bracket used to understand our potential customer base for product development.
• ✦Referral information. If you arrived via a referral link, we record the referring user's ID so we can credit them and track referral program tiers.
• ✦Your referral code. A unique code generated for you when you join, used to power our referral program.

We also automatically collect limited technical data through analytics (see the Analytics section below), including page views, browser type, and general geographic region (country/state level only).

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• ✦Waitlist management — to confirm your spot, assign your position number, and communicate updates about Free Bank's launch.
• ✦Product updates — to send emails about Free Bank's progress, launch timelines, and features relevant to your platform.
• ✦Referral program — to track referrals, credit referring users, and apply tier benefits to your account.
• ✦Product development — to understand our waitlist composition and prioritize features that serve actual creators.
• ✦Analytics — to understand how people find and interact with the Free Bank website (see Analytics section).
• ✦Legal compliance — where required by applicable law.

We do not sell, rent, or broker your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Free Bank uses PostHog for product analytics. PostHog is an open-source analytics platform that allows us to understand how visitors interact with our website — which pages are visited, where people drop off in the signup flow, and how features are used.

PostHog may collect: page URLs visited, referrer information, browser and device type, rough geographic location (country and region only — not city or precise location), and interaction events (button clicks, form submissions).

PostHog does not receive your name or email address through its standard analytics integration. We configure PostHog to respect Do Not Track browser signals. You can opt out of PostHog analytics by enabling a browser-level tracker blocker or by contacting us at privacy@joinfree.com.

We share your data only with the following categories of service providers, strictly to operate Free Bank:

• ✦Supabase. Our database and backend infrastructure provider. Stores waitlist data securely.
• ✦Email provider. Used to send transactional emails (signup confirmation, updates). We do not use your email for bulk marketing without consent.
• ✦PostHog. Analytics platform as described above.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or regulatory process, or to protect the rights and safety of Free Bank and its users.

We retain waitlist data for as long as Free Bank is in active pre-launch operations, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. When Free Bank launches, waitlist data will be migrated to account records only for users who complete account registration.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@joinfree.com with the subject line “Delete my data.” We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that deletion removes you from the waitlist and forfeits your position and referral credits.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA grants you specific rights:

• ✦Right to Know — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• ✦Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
• ✦Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• ✦Right to Opt-Out of Sale — we do not sell personal information; this right is not applicable, but we honor the spirit of it.
• ✦Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• ✦Right to restriction of processing — limit how we use your data.

Our legal basis for processing is your consent (given when you submit the waitlist form) and our legitimate interest in building and operating Free Bank. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or requesting deletion.
